          According to a motion filed by Dennis Montgomery opposing eTreppid's request for a protective order, Gibbons prompted the March 2006 FBI search of Montgomery's home after he left Trepp's company, a raid two federal judges later ruled unconstitutional. (Don't miss the CHAT comments)
How's this for 2 blatant contradictions (Good catch Martha):
1. Gibbons, while still in the U.S. House, "has admitted that he initiated the criminal action on behalf of Trepp by 'making phone calls' to Reno U.S. Attorney (Daniel) Bogden and the FBI," said the motion made public Tuesday. It attributes this statement to a list of documents, some still sealed."
But, but, but a few paragraphs later:
2. Gibbons told the Reno Gazette-Journal in February that he did not know Bogden.

"Corruption Chronicles" Reports on Gibbonsess-Gates.. it ain't pretty. (search Gibbons) "... if in fact Gibbons took kickbacks in exchange for lucrative military contracts, he could end up in jail. Left Word writes that Nevada’s governor could be the next Duke Cunningham, referring to the California congressman serving an eight-year prison sentence for taking $2.4 million in bribes from defense contractors."

             On Oct. 13, 2006, Ms. Chrissy Mazzeo contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police Department via 9-1-1 and reported that U.S. Congressman Jim Gibbons, a political candidate for Nevada governor, allegedly made inappropriate and unwanted sexual advances to her while at a restaurant.

          "Ms. Sandoval (The Gibbons' Nanny), who is Peruvian, says she entered the U.S. in 1984 by hiding in the trunk of a car as it crossed over from Tijuana. She got a job cleaning the sprawling house on the outskirts of Reno. When the Gibbons family bought the house in 1987, she stayed on.   In the beginning, she says no one asked about her legal status, but it became abundantly clear the Gibbons family knew she was not here legally since they often asked her to hide... "

In October 2006 as Gibbons was campaigning for governor, it was brought to light that he and his wife Dawn had employed Patricia Pastor Sandoval, a then-illegal immigrant from Peru, as a housekeeper and babysitter (circa 1987 - 1993). Dawn, a state representative, denied the allegations, claiming that Sandoval had merely been a friend who had helped out around the house and was given clothing and household goods, but was not an employee. An employment contract from between Mrs. Gibbons and Sandoval, however, appeared to disprove that assertion as it clearly laid out the terms and conditions of Sandoval's hiring.

            "The amount of controversy associated with the (governor's) race, the election and now the first six months of office exceeds that of any other governor we've ever had," Nevada State Archivist Guy Rocha told the Times. "Does that make him good, bad or otherwise? I can't say." Well I (Farmer) can, and it looks bad for Gibbons as he begins his first term.

which Trepp claimed contained classified documents." (Guess who mis-used his"power" to order the cowardly raid.)

             Who could those 2 inmates be?

It also owes at least some of its business to the infamous eTreppid, which received tens of millions of dollars worth of so-called "black budget" defense contracts. All Dawn got out of the eTreppid deal was a high-end cruise where she rubbed shoulders with John O'Hurley, newly of Wynn Las Vegas "Spamalot" fame."
